Quotes from Sharon Oakely:

"Had an absolute ball, Stewart and Jane were great teachers and what a lovely couple."

"Loved learning a new skill, and so will you!"

Sean Batty says:

"Best thing I've done in ages, thank you both for all your help and encouragement"

The main event is a "Strictly" Dance Competition featuring stars from STV, BBC, Smooth Radio, Galaxy Radio and Channel 4 competing with local Dance Teachers to raise funds for the Marie Curie Big Build Appeal

The Marie Curie Hospice, Glasgow, has served the needs of cancer patients throughout the city and surrounding areas for over 30 years. However the building is now showing its age. Nursing standards are excellent but we’re battling against facilities that simply can’t cope and a building that’s expensive to maintain.

The best way to ensure that local people continue to enjoy the benefits we provide is to build a new hospice. That’s why the Big Build Appeal needs to raise £16.1million – to build the hospice that Glasgow deserves. With a modern layout, the best facilities possible and in beautiful surroundings we’ll be able to provide even more care, support, dignity and relief to patients than ever before.
